Ridge knows his daughter’s heart is in the right place. He knows that she wants Kelly to have a little sister, but he concerns that the adoption may not be legal. He expresses his concern to Brooke, who agrees with him. She thought Steffy’s adoption would take months, not just days.

They agree they need to do what they can to protect Steffy. Their biggest worry is that Steffy will get hurt by getting attached to a baby, then the mother comes back to take her from her. Little do they know, no matter how this shakes out, Steffy will not be able to keep the baby as it is Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) baby, Beth.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Ridge Launches An Investigation

It looks like Ridge will launch an investigation into Steffy’s adoption. He will want to know more information about Flo (Katrina Bowden) and why she chose to give her baby up for adoption. Of course, if he looks into Flo’s background, he could find out that she was never pregnant. And more alarming, he may find out what her connection is to Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady).

Brooke’s angle is a little different. She is secretly hoping that the adoption fails. She believes that Steffy having a newborn would be hard for her daughter, Hope to watch. And, she’s right. Hope would be reminded every day that she lost Beth while Steffy adopted a baby.
