The Bold and the Beautiful rumors indicate that the baby switch reveal may call Beth’s paternity into question. Speculation over Beth’s paternity begin after Hope (Annika Noelle) announced her pregnancy. Of course everyone knew Liam (Scott Clifton) was the father, since he’s the only man Hope had been with. Her pregnancy led to the couple getting married and starting their new life as a family.

However, tragedy struck when Hope went into labor early and Reese (Wayne Brady) told her the baby died. But in reality, Beth is alive and is the newborn baby Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) adopted. With Reese’s secret getting close to being exposed, it’s only a matter of time before Hope and Liam are reunited with Beth.

However, their reunion may be short-lived if it turns out Beth isn’t Liam’s daughter. It would be odd for the writers to make Liam a father to two young girls, who are only a few months apart in age. So that would mean one of the girls won’t be his.

One would assume Kelly’s paternity would be put into question since Steffy did sleep with Bill (Don Diamont), however the writers may pull a plot twist and have another man be Beth’s father. So who could be the father of Hope’s baby?

One possibility is Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), who’ll be returning to Los Angeles soon. Viewers will remember that Thomas was involved with Sally (Courtney Hope), but dumped her to move to New York with Caroline (Linsey Godfrey). There’s a possibility that Thomas and Hope could’ve had a secret hookup during that short period of time.

Wyatt (Darin Brooks) did remark that Phoebe and Kelly looked a lot alike, and one would assume that it’s because of Liam. Yet, it could also be because Thomas and Steffy share the same genes.

While many fans won’t like the idea of Thomas being Beth’s father, it will lead to a lot more drama between Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor (Hunter Tylo). Plus, it’s going to stir up more tension between Hope and Steffy.
