Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Thursday, January 3: Reese Delivering Baby, Hope’s Pressure Drops, She Passes Out

In the clinic on Catalina Island, Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) agonizes through her contractions and worries it’s too soon, as Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) reassures her.

B&B Spoilers Reese Tells Hope They Have A Connection

He distracts her by revealing they have a connection and says he is Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) father. Hope is grateful he’s there for her and the baby.

At the airport, Matt Cannistra (Jim O’Heir) and Kieran Cannistra (Monica Horan) try to keep Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) calm as he awaits the Spencer chopper. Liam breathes, “Come on, Dad.”

Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers Bill Tells Brooke Hope Is In Labor

At Forrester Creations, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) takes a call from Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), who asks if she’s spoken to Hope Logan Spencer, then updates her on Liam Spencer being stranded and her daughter being in labor on the island. Bill informs her he’s arranging transport to the island. Brooke calls Hope, who tells her the contractions are getting worse and the power went out.

There’s a doctor with her but no other staff. Brooke learns it’s Dr. Buckingham and advises that Liam will be there soon and assures her Bill is doing everything he can to help. Brooke disconnects and embraces Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), and gasps, “Oh my God!” Ridge reassures her. Brooke can’t help but think about Hope’s first pregnancy and is terrified. Ridge urges her to be positive. Brooke decides she needs to be on the helicopter to be there for her daughter. Outside the building, the guy who confronted Reese Buckingham snaps photos of Zoe Buckingham.

B&B Spoilers Hope Regrets Traveling To Catalina Island

At the clinic, Hope Logan Spencer beats herself up for traveling to the island. Dr. Reese Buckingham gets a text from the guy with a photo of Zoe Buckingham and asks if her life is worth $200,000. Reese phones Zoe and is relieved when she picks up.

Bold and The Beautiful Zoe Is Suspicious Of Her Dad

Downstairs at Forrester Creations, Zoe Buckingham speaks to her dad on the phone. She’s suspicious when he gets all mushy on her. He reveals he’s treating someone she knows on Catalina. Zoe guesses it’s Hope Logan Spencer. Dr. Reese Buckingham cannot confirm or deny, but she’s in labor. Reese tells Zoe he loves her and disconnects.

B&B Bill Vows To Get Liam To Hope

In the office, Bill Spencer joins Ridge Forrester and Brooke Logan Forrester and vows he’ll get Liam Spencer to Hope Logan Spencer. Brooke’s panicky about the scenario, but Bill and Ridge both want her to relax. Zoe Buckingham and Xander Avant (Adian Bradley) appear to assure Brooke that her father is a fantastic doctor.

Bill Spencer’s pilot arrives at the airport to take Liam Spencer to Catalina. Matt and Kieran Cannistra decline his offer to hitch a ride amid the howling winds. Liam texts Hope Logan Spencer from the chopper.

At Forrester, Bill Spencer learns Liam Spencer’s chopper took off. Brooke Logan Forrester is relieved.

Bold and The Beautiful Reese Calls The People Threatening Zoe

At the clinic, Dr. Reese Buckingham calls the guy and warns him to leave his daughter alone. The guy hangs up on him. After, Hope Logan Spencer gets Liam Spencer’s text and updates Dr. Reese that her husband is on the way. She notices the doctor seems distracted.

Reese insists he’s focused on her. She shares her baby’s name is Beth as another contraction comes on. Dr. Reese urges her to push. Hope screams, “Liam!” Suddenly, her pressure drops, beepers sound, and she passes out as Reese pleads, “Stay with me! Hope!”
