Bold And The Beautiful News: Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Teases What’s Ahead For Steffy

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has returned to Los Angeles after spending some time with her daughters in Paris. “The Bold and the Beautiful” star teases what’s ahead for her alter ego once she returns to LA.

“When she comes back, she’s getting back into the swing of things, figuring everything out. It’s about her juggling motherhood and her career,” Wood tells TV Insider about Steffy’s homecoming.

In the interview, Wood also teased that the baby swap drama will blow out eventually, but she admits she does not have an idea yet how it will turn out.

“There will be some baby drama that will arise! There is that storyline where Steffy has Phoebe but she’s Hope’s daughter. Eventually that will come out. I don’t know which way it will go,” she said.

But it is inevitable, Steffy is bound to find out that baby Phoebe she adopted is, in fact, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) baby Beth.

“As an actor, I feel it in my chest [what it will be like] playing those scenes, as a new mom, having to imagine a child being ripped away from you,” Wood confessed. The Emmy-award winning star welcomed her first son, Rise Harlen, last March.

And then she will also have to deal with her love life. While she was away, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) has been manipulating Hope so she would turn to him and push Liam towards Steffy. It was one of the reasons why Liam took off to follow them in Paris. Liam came home first after Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) warned him about what Thomas was doing.

What will she do? Last year, she had a hard time when she and Liam broke up. And rather than rebounding with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), she declared her independence and decided to stand on her own. If given another opportunity, will she take Liam back?

“I think it goes back to she’ll always have feelings for Liam. It’d be nice for him to be there for their daughter. I’m sure she’d love that perfect family someday, but she had to think about her daughters,” Wood said.
