Bold And The Beautiful News: Jacob Young Shares His New Job

Jacob Young has been busy since leaving the Bold and the Beautiful, and he excitedly shared one of his latest projects on Instagram. Young posted a teaser video of an upcoming film called Angel that he shot with Ricky Garcia last summer.

“Big things are happening for this one! Stay tuned!” Young teases.

Angel is written and directed by Jimmy Blondell. Young stars alongside Garcia and Mia Hulen. The  film tells the story of “a divine young man who heals the body and souls of the displaced and dispossessed in Los Angeles as evil personified hunts him down.”

Jacob Young is known for his role as Rick Forrester on the Bold and the Beautiful. He also appeared as JR Chandler on All My Children and One Life to Live.

Bold And The Beautiful – Would Young Return To The Soap?

His exit from the Bold and the Beautiful disappointed Young and his fans. But would he be willing to return to the daytime soap?

In a recent interview with Soap Opera News, Young said that he does not want to sign a contract yet, but he would be willing to return for his sake and the sake of his fans. He believes it would give everyone some closure about what happened to Rick.

“Maya and Rick was such an important storyline on so many levels,” Young explained. “Even if they were wrapping up Rick’s story, and Maya and Rick were divorced and Rick wasn’t coming back, I just really wished they would have had Rick come back and explain himself to his family.”

Bold And The Beautiful – Could There Be A Rick Recast?

Young said he does not know what the producer’s plans are for Rick or if they are planning to recast the role. However, Young believes there’s got to be some explanation about Rick’s sudden disappearance.

“It’s been super vague. I wish they would do something about that,” he said. “But obviously, it’s out of my hands. I know the viewers want to see it. I know I would like to see it. You know it was a real highlight of my career working with Karla Mosley. I just hate to see it drift off into nothingness without that.”

Meanwhile, fans can watch out for Young’s new projects, as he is currently working on a number of films.
