‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Don Diamont Talks About Dollar Bill As A Changed Man

“Bold and the Beautiful” is seeing the better side of Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) these days. Even his ex-wife Katie Logan (Heather Tom) can’t help but notice the Bill she once loved. But is Bill really a changed man? Don Diamont speaks out.

Since Dollar Bill was pushed over a balcony last year, he has turned into a kinder, gentler person. With his changed perspective, Katie likes what she’s seeing in him.

“He’s in a very introspective place, looking at his life and how much damage was done,” Diamont told Soap In Depth in a recent interview.

After being obsessed with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) last year, Bill has decided he wants Katie back. The timing was just right since Katie’s husband Thorne Forrester (Ingo Rademacher) decided to put an end to their marriage on Valentine’s Day.

“He’s starting to see that [their relationship] could have been the greatest thing in his life, had he not behaved a certain way. His perspective has changed,” Diamont added.

He also explained that Katie was not a rebound after failing to get back with Brooke and to woo Steffy.

“Katie and Bill have a very special bond. There’s a ‘knowing’ there, about each other, that’s very unique,” he said.

Bold And The Beautiful News – A Batie Reunion Seems Inevitable

The two have been enjoying their time together, and a reunion seems inevitable. Thanks in part to their friends, who are playing cupid to bring them closer together.

Diamont adds that Katie knows Bill more than anybody, and what she’s seeing in him is not something new. Katie knows that’s a side he always had in him.

But how long will Bill stay on this side? Diamont says he wants Bill to be Bill, and that it would be interesting to see that his best behavior backfires to make people around him think twice. Is any of this improved version real?

“It would be interesting if something happened where everybody needs Bill to be Bill, if people were like, ‘There’s only one person who can handle this! We need the old Bill!’ That would be funny,” said Diamont.

He added that Bill can be “the most loving, caring person and yet… not be,” and that will remain a struggle for him. “At the end of the day, Bill has to be Bill.”
