Bold and Beautiful Recap Tuesday September 10: Brooke’s Hatred For Thomas Grows, Ridge Shocks Flo And Shauna

The Tuesday, September 10, 2019, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, opens in jail where Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) rebuffs Shauna Fulton’s (Denise Richards) pleas to show her daughter mercy. She claims that Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) is a good person who was taken advantage of and used by Dr. Buckingham (Wayne Brady). Ridge isn’t in the mood to hear excuses or apologies for Flo’s lies.

Neither is his daughter. Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) doesn’t care about the tears of a woman who deserves to rot in prison. Steffy and Kelly Spencer (Chloe Teperman) are grieving the loss of Phoebe: their happy family is gone because “worthless” and “disgusting” Flo was too selfish to tell the truth.

Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) is also hurting. He wants to know when his daddy is coming home. Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) explains that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is just taking a “time-out” and has a lot to think about. Douglas perks up a bit when Brooke, Katie Spencer (Heather Tom), and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) assure him that he’s surrounded by love. Brooke takes him to the cabin to play with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), Hope (Annika Noelle), and Beth. Donna and Katie rejoice over the miracle of Beth’s return.

However, there is one person who’s return from near death is not a joyous event. Brooke and her sisters agree on their hatred for Thomas: Ridge needs to take the blinders off and see that there is something fundamentally wrong with his son. Brooke vows that Thomas won’t damage Douglas any further. Thomas, Flo, and Shauna will pay for hurting her daughter.

Detective Alex Sanchez (Jeremy Ray Valdez) pushes Ridge to make a decision: Will Ridge and the Forresters support immunity for Flo? Ridge begrudgingly agrees to the deal, but he’s not doing it for Flo, he’s doing it for Thomas. His son, like Shauna’s daughter, is a good person who lost his way. Detective Sanchez brings Flo into the interrogation room where Shauna is thanking Ridge for making the right choice. Flo immediately jumps to her mother’s defense against Ridge’s “harassment.” Ridge should direct his anger to whom the blame belongs—Flo.

The news that Ridge is responsible for her release stuns Flo. She can’t believe he supported an immunity deal with the feds in which she will not be prosecuted if she testifies in the forged medical documents investigation against Buckingham.
