According to reports, Mishael and her husband Navid Ali have just welcomed a beautiful little girl into this world! They named their daughter Naliyah. She joins the couple’s son, Niam, who was born back in 2015. And from what we can tell it looks like mother and daughter are doing well and the entire family is very happy and excited about their newest addition.
Mishael left The Young and the Restless earlier this year to focus on her family and pursue other projects in the entertainment industry. One of the reasons why Mishael left daytime television is because apparently, she wasn’t pleased with the contract she had with the soap. Her agent, David Ritchie, told Soaps in Depth that Mishael was hoping to get an increase in pay for all the hard work she has put in for the show.
He told the publication, “It all starts with finances essentially, and they were not prepared to give her a raise. So, it would mean that she worked for five years with no increase. It shocked me, to say the least…I was very disappointed that they didn’t even come back to the table.”
Luckily for Mishael, she has some projects in the pipeline that she will be working on after her maternity leave. Congratulations to Mishael and her entire family on their baby girl! We can’t wait to see more photos of her new little bundle of joy.
