Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Victoria Turns Tables On Tessa – Blackmailer In Trouble

Vickie (Amelia Heinle) isn’t used to being under anyone’s control on ‘The Young and the Restless’. That’s because she’s the offspring of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), as Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) will be forced to digest.

Miss Porter ran afoul of Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) awhile ago. That came after Mrs. Newman became the first person in Genoa City to befriend the aspiring singer-musician.

The Nikki-Tessa combo produced ‘Nessa’, which didn’t last long. Within the last week, Tessa actually told Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that she never loved Noah (Robert Adamson). She was hoping to marry Vickie’s nephew and then divorce him in order to gain money. That was out of character, but went along with Y&R’s decision to write down and apparently write out Fairbanks previously promising character.

Mariah was right to tell Sharon (Sharon Case) that Tessa admitted to manipulating the coverup crew. Sharon then told Nikki, Vickie, and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) during the umpteenth meeting of the coverup crew since they first forced-formed in April. All in this paragraph spurned Vickie to wait in Tessa’s studio-type apartment on GC’s low-rent side.

Tessa appeared to swing through Mariah’s pitch. She bought, or at least fronted acceptance of Grimes’ character not having told Sharon that Tessa was the blackmailer. But Vickie’s stern verbal threat to Tessa will either result in her mouth remaining shut, or another erratic move will further this aged storyline, along with gained knowledge that Mariah didn’t tell the full truth. That alone puts Mariah in danger.

Vickie and the others want to know if Tessa moved J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) body. If she didn’t, then a second, anonymous and more ominous threat exists.

It’s not coincidental that the ‘Moustache’ reappears this week. Yes, Victor will need to help his daughter and wife deal with Tessa and whoever else is aiming for them.

Vickie’s table-turn pushes Tessa further off-center. The moment Victor learns, he’ll turn up the pressure. This reckless blackmailer is now playing defense, which will lead to some type of unpredictable reaction.
