Mariah finally heads off to do as promised. She ends up at Tessa’s place and lies about not outing her as the blackmailer. Mariah also fibs that Sharon didn’t offer much info about J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) death. Tessa’s grateful for Mariah’s silence and wonders how they can fix this. She offers to donate the money to charity and hands over the flash drive as proof she won’t rat the cover-up crew out.
Mariah decides she’ll move back in once the money’s out of the studio. She leaves to give the flash drive to Sharon, who’s busy chatting with Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) on Tuesday. Rey and Sharon talk about all the sudden Mia (Noemi Gonazlez) drama. Since Rey wants to make it work, Sharon’s fine with backing off.
Rey also mentions soil samples that prove J.T. was once buried in Chancellor Park. He notes that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) seemed to know they hadn’t found a body. Afterward, Sharon gets the flash drive from Mariah and they talk about the many sides of Tessa Porter. She later shows the footage to Victoria, who destroys it.
However, Victoria promises she’s not taking Tessa’s word on this. She understands that Tessa could still have copies and a plan in place. It turns out Tessa does! Back at her studio, she stuffs a teddy bear with cash and an extra flash drive. When Mariah returns, Tessa insists the money’s gone. Mariah vows to move back in the next morning, but secrets will undoubtedly spell trouble!
Over with Cane (Daniel Goddard), he tries to help the twins cope with their looming prison Thanksgiving. Cane notes that Neil (Kristoff St. John) moved closer to Lily (Christel Khalil), which should be good for her. Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) are still fretting about the whole situation. They eventually realize Devon (Bryton James) is bailing on their family plans.

He’s clearly frustrated by Devon and all this drama.
