Young And The Restless Spoilers: Shocking Reason Fen Baldwin Was Recast

The Young and the Restless alum Max Elrich shocked the CBS soap opera fans when he revealed that he will no longer play Fenmore Baldwin. In a shocking move, the series decided to recast the role with Zach Tinker. Fen will return to Genoa City on Monday, December 3.

Ehrich Had Safety Issues

On November 9, Ehrich took to social media to tell the fans that he had been asked to return as Fen but couldn’t due to a safety issue. He explained that he had recently been targeted by a stalker. He explained that he was supposed to appear in September but due a to “crazy stalker issue,” he couldn’t.

In October, Max came out and said he had to go in hiding as a realtor had become obsessed with him while he was house hunting. After Elrich refused his advances, the stalker pulled out a gun to try to force the issue.

Afterward the actor hired a slew of bodyguards. He revealed the stalker found him online before they met. He warned that social media is a great tool but people should be careful about sharing their locations.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – The New Fen

Due to Ehrich’s safety issue, CBS hired a new actor to play the role. Zach Tinker is a daytime newbie. He was last seen in Law and Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders. He played Craig, Erik’s friend.
