Young and the Restless Spoilers & Recap Wednesday, December 19: Nick Furious At Rey, Goes After Him“Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Wednesday, December 19, 2018, reveals that over at the Abbott mansion, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is on the phone about a delivery when Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) enters and updates him on Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Kyle wonders what kind of lowlife leaves someone to die in the street?

Y&R Spoilers – Charlie and Reed Argue

At the Ashby house, Mattie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson) tells Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Leabu) that Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander) is still in the bed. Reed confirms they went to a party last night but says it sucked and he’s glad she wasn’t there. Later, Charlie and Reed debate if they were the ones who hit Nikki Newman.

Young and The Restless Spoilers – Reed Wants To Confess

Charlie is happy that Nate Hastings (Brooks Darnell) is her doctor. They decide to get their money together and take the car to a guy outside of town who’ll fix it for cash. The boys talk about what their story will be, and Reed decides he can’t keep the secret. Charlie hisses that’s crazy stupid! He reminds him his mom confessed and is in prison. Mattie interrupts the argument. They pretend it’s about sports. After, Charlie talks Reed out of coming clean.

Y&R Spoilers – Fen Ignores Ana’s Advice

At the Athletic Club, Fenmore Baldwin (Zach Tinder) waits on Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Ana Hamilton (Loren Lott). When Devon slips away, Ana warns Fenmore not to ask about his demo and tells him Devon hasn’t listened to it yet. After breakfast, Fenmore mentions his demo, and Devon advises he was hired to wait tables. He and Ana leave. Next, Kyle Abbott takes a table, drops utensils, and asks Fenmore to pick them up. Fenmore telling him where to stick his fork and spoon when Ana reappears.

She warns Fenmore not to bother Devon again and he’ll keep his job. She thinks his demo is good and offers to produce a new one for him. Fenmore wants someone with experience. She wishes him luck. Kyle shakes his head and calls Fenmore ‘epically stupid’. Fenmore snarks that Kyle can’t even work his way up at Jabot. Kyle advises that Ana’s smart and driven and points out that she’ll go far. Fenmore blew his chance to go with her.

Young and The Restless Spoilers – Nate Reports Nikki Needs An MRI

At the hospital, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) disconnects from Noah Newman (Robert Adamson) as Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) updates she hasn’t heard from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). She hopes he’s on his way home. Nick replies that doesn’t mean he’ll get there in time. Nate Hastings joins them and reports that Nikki Newman needs an MRI and says then he’ll know better whether she’ll make it after he has the results.

Victoria and Nick wish they’d known she was drinking. Nick complains about Victor, then Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), who dragged Nikki down to the station like she’s the one who killed J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill). After, Jack Abbott shows up and confirms to Nick that Nikki told him she’d had a drink and they attended an AA meeting.

They discuss Victor and Jack believes he’s selfish, but would be by her side if he could be. He thinks he may be in serious trouble. As time passes, Nick takes Victoria’s advice to take a break. Victoria tells Jack she’s trying hard to hold it together, and he comforts her. Elsewhere, Nick asks Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to get a message to Victor, but Michael hasn’t heard from him.

Y&R Spoilers – Rey Informs Sharon About Nikki

At Crimson Lights, Rey Rosales chats with Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) while getting coffee. He realizes she hasn’t heard about Nikki Newman and fills her in. Sharon learns Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) hasn’t shown up yet. Rey muses that he now has to decide what’s more important – his freedom or his life.

Young and The Restless Spoilers – Sharon Shocked Nikki Is Drinking

At Jabot, Sharon McAvoy seeks an update on Nikki Newman’s condition from Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni). They speculate about who might have done it and think it may be the same sicko who put J.T. Hellstrom’s clothing on the bed. Phyllis hopes it’s just what it looks like, an accident. Sharon’s surprised to hear Nikki was drinking and thinks Nick Newman must be devastated.

Y&R Nick and Rey Fight

Sharon McAvoy arrives at the hospital and asks about Nikki Newman. Phyllis Summers appears, and Nick Newman learns Sharon was at Jabot earlier. Sharon promises to update Nick on Nikki’s case. They’re all getting an update from Nate Hastings when Rey Rosales shows up. Nick hollers at him to beat it. Rey’s investigating the hit-and-run. Nick vows to get him off the case. Rey shrugs that at least he’s there, which is more than he can say for his old man. Nick lunges and Michael Baldwin holds him back.

After, Sharon’s reassuring Victoria Newman when Phyllis Summers joins them. They debate whether Rey took the case because he thinks there’s a connection to the J.T. Hellstrom investigation. Victoria muses her mom thought the clothes were a warning, and Phyllis worries whoever did this is planning to take them all out. Elsewhere, Rey tells Nick they gave him the case because he’s good at his job. Nick warns when they find the person and wants them to pay.

Back over at the Abbott mansion, Jack Abbott finds Kyle Abbott setting up a beach scene to surprise Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), who misses Miami. Jack relays he wined and dined Kerry Johnson (Alice Hunter), and Kyle asks about his next move. Jack has an idea and thinks Kerry’s going to love it.

Young and The Restless – Fen Apologizes To Ana, She Agrees To Work With Him

Fenmore Baldwin finds Ana Hamilton at the penthouse, who informs him she grew up living and breathing music; she’s not just Devon Hamilton’s little sister. Fenmore is apologetic. He wants to work with her but is worried about money. She’s got it covered and says he just has to give the performance of his life.
