After nudging Victoria (Amelia Heinle) into it, she pushes Billy to take her to the shindig. Victoria insists it’ll be fun, so Billy gets changed for the big event. Meanwhile, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) gets called down to the police station. Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) fuming about Nikki’s attempt to butter up Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) and influence his investigation.
Nikki isn’t willing to talk without her attorney, so Michael (Christian LeBlanc) arrives to help. Despite Rey’s outrage, Nikki argues that she cares about her husband just like Mia does. Rey mentions how Victor (Eric Braeden) is still out of town. He’s not happy about that, so it leads to more conflict with Nikki.

In a private moment, Nikki admits to Michael that she still hasn’t been able to reach Victor. He urges Nikki to stay away from Mia and convinces her to tag along to the Jabot party. Back with Rey, he learns Mia scored an invite from Phyllis and grudgingly agrees to attend with her. Their presence causes hostility a bit later.
Michael’s irked since he doesn’t want his client harassed, but Rey ends up doing that anyway. He spars with Nikki in the hallway and contends that Victor is going down. Rey adds that he’ll take Nikki down as an accomplice, too. He’s convinced she’s holding out on him when it comes to J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) murder.
Nikki’s been sneaking drinks all night, but she sneaks another one before she heads outside. Over with Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu), he finds out Charlie’s (Noah Alexander Gerry) been drowning his sorrows over getting dumped. Since Charlie still wants to check out a party, Reed offers to drive. His license is suspended, but he thinks it’ll be safer than letting Charlie drive impaired.
In the car, Reed has a hard time seeing through the snow-covered windshield. He mows down drunk Nikki and wonders if he hit something as he keeps speeding along. Back inside at the party, Phyllis cozies up to Nick and glares at Billy with Victoria. As for Jack and Kerry, they make googly eyes at each other and discuss their unforgettable kiss.
Lola (Sasha Calle) also spends some time reflecting on how much is going right in her life. She eventually rushes to Fen’s (Zack Tinker) defense when Kyle (Michael Mealor) insults him. Michael objects to Fen being a waiter, but Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) wants him to lighten up. She feels like it’s important to show their son they support his dreams.
When it’s time for karaoke, Fen gets up on stage at Lola’s request. He drags Lauren up with him and they belt out a song. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say another hot episode’s on the way, so we’ll give you updates as other Y&R news and rumors emerge.
