Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, December 14: Mariah Explodes at Sharon – Nikki’s Manipulation Enrages Rey – Arturo Defends Mia

“Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, December 14, tease that Jack (Peter Bergman) will put a plan in motion. At Jabot, Kerry (Alice Hunter) gets a dinner invite from Jack. She eventually makes it over to the Abbott mansion, where Jack has donned a tuxedo to impress her. They discuss what they like about each other and share a kiss under the mistletoe to cap off the night.

Y&R Spoilers – Rey Shuts Down Mia’s Seduction Attempts

At Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) place, he shuts down Mia’s (Noemi Gonzalez) attempts to seduce him and insists on heading to work. Mia winds up at Crimson Lights, where Kyle (Michael Mealor) is celebrating Lola’s (Sasha Calle) good news. Arturo’s (Jason Canela) proud of Abby (Melissa Ordway) for pulling off her goal and making Lola the newest chef of her restaurant.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Arturo Scolds Abby For Downplaying Mia’s New Job

Mia pipes up about becoming Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) stylist, but Abby downplays the accomplishment and talks up Lola instead. Afterward, Arturo scolds Abby in private. He doesn’t think it was right for her to make Mia feel bad, but she’s irked that Arturo’s defending his ex. Abby argues that Mia deserves a takedown and refuses to cut her any slack. Meanwhile, Mia goes home and starts to cry.

Y&R Spoilers – Mariah Blasts Sharon

At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) house, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) barges in and blasts her mom over Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) kidnapping. Sharon doesn’t think it’s a big deal, but Mariah contends that Tessa was traumatized. She explains she was going to break up with her, but Tessa called her sobbing on the side of the road.

Sharon feels like Tessa’s running a long-game con and is manipulating Mariah with guilt over the situation. Mariah warns Sharon to leave Tessa alone, but her mom refuses and keeps the insults coming. When Mariah finally can’t listen to any more of it, she storms out.

Friday, December 14 Y&R Spoilers – Tessa Pleads With Sharon

Tessa runs into Sharon at the athletic club later and mentions she’s applying for a job there. She pleads for a minute of Sharon’s time, so Sharon reluctantly relents. Tessa assures Sharon that she loves Mariah, but Sharon rants about the almost break up and how there’s no dignity in staying together now.

Once they go back and forth a bit, Tessa notes that she’s not the one who’ll get hurt if Sharon keeps this up. She feels like Sharon is damaging her own bond with Mariah. Afterward, Tessa’s jumpy when Mariah appears at the coffeehouse. They talk about Tessa’s job interview, which didn’t get her the server position.

After Tessa mentions her showdown with Sharon, Mariah figures her mom sabotaged her. She complains that Sharon’s out of control and heads back to confront her again. At the cottage, Sharon doesn’t deny the sabotage. She implies that one way or another, she’s going force Tessa out of Mariah’s life.

Y&R Spoilers – Rey Realizes Nikki Is Using Mariah

Back with Mia, she gripes to Rey about all the cold people in Genoa City. Mia is lonely and needs to know if Rey’s heart isn’t in this reunion. Rey offers reassurance and takes Mia to bed with him. After they make love, Rey learns Mia’s grown closer to Nikki. He quickly realizes Nikki’s just using her to handle the Victor (Eric Braeden) drama and flips out.

Rey contends that this friendship isn’t going to happen. He’s harsh with Mia, but she protests that she just wanted to help him. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers hint that Rey and Mia’s marriage will face even more obstacles, so don’t miss the rocky road ahead.
