Young And The Restless Spoilers: Can Tessa Be Redeemed, Or Cait Fairbanks Must Exit?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will continue to deceive Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) over the next few weeks. It is something the fans are not happy about since they had such high hopes for the same-sex couple.

Can Tessa Get Redemption on Young And The Restless?

The biggest question is: can Tessa get redemption? It seems like she may not be able too. No one would disagree in that she went too far when she blackmailed Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) Newman. However, she may not have meant any harm by it. She may have been doing exactly as she claimed—just trying to get “her cut” by taking money from them in exchange for keeping quiet.

The storyline seems to be headed somewhere for Tessa. It could go two way. First, they could find a way to redeem her. They could make her a victim and help her get redemption for her bad behavior. Perhaps, they could point out the rough life she’s had and she merely just took advantage of a bad situation.

It could work. After all. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has been redeemed multiple times. Tessa didn’t kidnap someone and hold them prisoner in her basement. That’s right, the Great Victor Newman did that.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Tessa Could Skip Town

If redemption is not in the cards, then another way to wrap storyline up is to have Tessa skip town. Let’s face it, Tessa seems to have one foot out the door as it is. Now, we aren’t saying she doesn’t care about Mariah, because she does, but she is an opportunist.

If Tessa believes that JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) murder will be pinned on her, it’s possible she will run away. There’s no way she will allow the Newman women to strong arm her and pin their murder on her. If she does leave Genoa City, Mariah will be heartbroken. Let’s hope if that’s the route they are going, Tessa at least has the decency to tell Mariah goodbye.
