Young and The Restless Fans Want Jacob Young To Step Into Role of Y&R Dylan McAvoy

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) fans want to see CBS snag Jacob Young for the CBS soap opera. One role they hand-picked him for is Dylan McAvoy. Many said that he may be able to pull off Adam Newman’s character. Young may not be able to pull off such a dark character. Dylan would be a great character for the handsome young actor.

Fired From B&B

Jacob was suddenly dropped to recurring status over the summer after his co-star and on-screen wife Karla Mosley (Maya Avant) had to take time off for maternity leave. He was told they would need to drop him to recurring and they would call him when they could work him in. He waited for them to contact.

He never heard back. Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton) got married, and they didn’t ask him to appear. Holidays approached and still no phone call. Young believes that he will never be asked to appear on Bold and the Beautiful That’s when the fans got the bright idea for him to soap jump to Y&R.

Dylan McAvoy Comeback?

Steven Burton left Y&R several years ago. He decided he didn’t want to work on soaps anymore ( or that was his excuse at the time). He left to work on other projects. Of course, now, he is back as Jason on GH. Dylan was married to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). They had an amazing life together, but he got involved with the mob and he had to enter the witness protection program. Perhaps, they could write the bad guys were caught now Dylan can come home. It would be a great addition to the cast and Jacob Young would be the perfect Dylan.
