Ava had an affair with Dr. Silas Clay (Michael Easton) while he was still married to Nina; their affair ended up with them having a daughter, Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) while Nina ended up barren.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) stands over Ava, while she lies in her hospital bed, just rescued from the burning building.
