Two General Hospital Actors Share Warning With Fans About Imposters

It looks like there’s some trouble for General Hospital stars William DeVry and Tristan Rogers. But no, this has nothing to do with their on-screen characters. Both actors are warning their fans that there are some people who are impersonating them online as their imposters!

According to new reports, there are people out there that are trying to pretend to be William and Tristan on social media. And to make things worse, they are trying to fraudulently take money from fans. Both William and Tristan know just how loyal their fan base are and how important they are to them, that’s why they’ve sent them a special message to be on the lookout.

William even told fans that if they see any fake Instagram or Twitter accounts with his name on them to make sure and report them right away. He wrote, “Just fyi everyone. @devry_william account is fake. Please RT RT RT. People are getting DMs from this account. @Twitter @verifiedPlease unfollow. They are also impersonating me on @instagram.”

In addition, Tristan also wrote, “BTW. There’s some butt hole out there saying he’s ME. Right down to holding my dog. THIS is me. I’m reporting this turd and if I find them I’ll happily show them the desert. One way.”

Thankfully, the fake accounts have been removed, although this hasn’t been the first time and it certainly won’t be the last time, either. General Hospital airs weekdays on the ABC network.
