This is Us Star Justin Hartley Gives Fans A Sneak Peek For Season 3

It’s without a doubt that This is Us has managed to stay on top as television’s most-watched dramedy. And now we’re learning even more about the Pearsons and their family drama as actor Justin Hartley gives fans a little insight on what to expect for Season 3.

The last time we saw Justin’s character Kevin, he was on a plane and on his way to Vietnam. He can be seen holding a picture of his father, Jack during his time in war. The same photo was first shown in an earlier season that showed flashbacks of Jack in Vietnam in an episode called “Brothers.”

And now Kevin Hartley says that fans can expect to learn more about Jack and his life before Rebecca. We will also learn more about his brother, Nicky. He apparently served in Vietnam with Jack and was presumably killed during the war.

According to Pop Culture, Kevin says, “It’s been a question, what Jack’s younger life was like, what his influences on having a positive family experience were. For Jack and Nicky, I think a lot of that probably will be played not so much on younger child actors that are playing those parts that will rely on myself and another actor stepping into the shoes of Nicky — their time as young men, their time in Vietnam, the knowledge that maybe Nicky didn’t quite make it.”

In other words, viewers will definitely learn more about Jack as his story progresses on. Producers have even teased that we will be seeing more of Jack in Season 3, although it might not be what fans expect. Of course, fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
