This Is Us Season 3 Spoilers: Milo Ventimiglia Opens Up About Jack In Vietnam

This Is Us Season 3 spoilers tease that we will be seeing much more of Jack Pearson during his time in Vietnam. As a matter of fact, actor Milo Ventimiglia, who plays Jack on the hit NBC dramedy, says that there are going to be some major revelations that will come out about his character very soon.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Milo told the publication about This Is Us season 3, “I really don’t want to hint because I want people to be surprised. But what he laid out for me — I didn’t see it coming. I really didn’t see it coming. And I had a pretty good understanding of what it was going to be.”

Apparently, Jack’s secrets were so shocking that it even caught Milo by surprise.

He added, “As he was unfolding the story — and Isaac [Aptaker, This Is Us co-showunner] was there, and they were explaining everything — I went, ‘Oh. Holy s—. Holy s—. Holy s—!’ I kind of felt like Daryl walking out of the backroom card game with all the money, like, ‘This is going to be so good.’ There is a lot to Jack’s history that shapes who he ultimately becomes.”

What’s more, This Is Us season 3 will also explore Jack’s relationship with Mandy before they got married. After all, fans have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly of their marriage, but almost nothing from their pre-wedding days.

“I know that’s an area that Mandy and I have always enjoyed playing around with,” says Ventimiglia. “It would be fun to see the discovery of these two people and past that blow-back-your-hair, first moment of sight.”
