‘The Young and the Restless’ (YR) Spoilers: Who Doesn’t Survive the Summer?

Various characters are in peril on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But which won’t survive current dilemmas this summer?

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) seems most at risk, due to Morgan having already filmed her final Y&R scenes. Might Hilary be permanently written out? One hopes not, as the great actor’s return would be welcomed someday. However, if decision-makers opt to keep the character on and not kill her off, then a recast could be coming at some point in the future.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is in imminent danger. Either the criminal acts she participated in will be revealed, or J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) is alive, which would create a different set of legal problems.

Yes, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), Vickie (Amelia Heinle), and Sharon (Sharon Case) also face tenuous paths until this situation comes to some type of conclusion. But Nikki is the person who hit J.T. over the head and then didn’t report what she did to Paul (Doug Davidson).

Cane (Daniel Goddard) could be edged out of Chancellor Industries if Jack (Peter Bergman) proves to be Phillips’ (Donnelly Rhodes) son. Mr. Ashby was wronged by Juliet (Laur Allen) and lost his personal and professional reputation as a result.

After finally reclaiming his family and reestablishing himself in the business world, through Jill’s (Jess Walton) help, Cane recently received a request from Jack to dig up a dead body. Mr. Abbott, or whatever his last name is won’t rest until he gets a definitive answer to his pressing paternity question. If that means Cane’s world is upended this summer, then so be it.

Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) remain at each other’s throats. One, the other, or both (shared) will gain legal custody of Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) soon. But as that situation develops, Victor’s health is fragile and Nick’s life will be put in danger if he continues to pursue J.T. lead sightings.

Might the ‘Moustache’ have a serious, or deadly disease? Nate (Brooks Darnell) should soon be able to provide a diagnosis.

Will Nick’s penchant to take reckless risks put his life at unnatural risk as well? He’s a Newman, so yes, it’s possible during this hot summer.
