The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Victor’s Reputation Makes Him Prime Suspect – Abby Knows Her Dad

Who would possibly want to see Jack (Peter Bergman) humiliated on ‘The Young and the Restless’? The answer is easy, but no one is more motivated than Abby (Melissa Ordway) to learn if her dad was behind the paternity reveal which was publicly witnessed at the movie house.

Yes, when all logical factors are weighed, the enduring, though not endearing battle between Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Jack Abbott still plays. That’s a leading reason why Abby suspects her dad’s influence led to the seemingly cut footage that showed Dina (Marla Adams) spilling her son’s apparent paternity secret.

Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) receipt of knowledge from Ravi (Abhi Sinha) unmasked Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) unknown role in this mess. The childish grudge this recently recast character holds against his father led to him giving the memory stick, whose contents Ravi recovered, to the ‘Black Knight’.

Add the above to Abby’s personal knowledge of Victor’s deep manipulative streak and the mystery is nearly solved. Whether Jack’s nemesis acknowledges his role, or implies as such, remains to be seen. But Abby’s heartfelt project was destroyed and she is naturally seeking answers as to why and how that was done and of course, who, or how many, did this tawdry deed.

As far as movies, do people still go to see them? What would make them do so, since television, cable, satellite, and now, the internet has made so many entertainment options, including flicks, available?

Well, first-run features, depending upon their content, are still popular. The same is true of Y&R, where engaging storylines are appreciated by between four and five million live daily viewers in the United States alone. Millions, yes millions more, watch this show through time-shifted recordings and via available digital libraries that can be accessed in the U.S, Canada, and elsewhere around the globe.

With however fans watch, they have already seen that Kyle ceded control of the situation to the man he thinks is his savior. But Victor appears to have setup Jack’s son to take at least part of the fall.
