The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Victor’s Immortality Means J.T. is Doomed – Climax To Storyline Nears

Yes, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is immortal on ‘The Young and the Restless’. That means J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) is doomed. He will be revealed as the ‘Moustache’s’ attacker, which means that Mr. Hellstrom will either face justice, or another end.

Whether Luckinbill will exit the show, or not is yet to be seen. The actor did advise upon his return to the cast late last year that J.T.’s storyline appeared to have a limited life, lasting only a handful of months. That time period appears to have passed, or be nearing its end point.

A range of enders can play out. In one, J.T. is caught, arrested and imprisoned. That would provide some drama, but also place Luckinbill’s character in a known spot (a jail cell) indefinitely. Doing so could keep him in the storyline, as J.T. could then have a jailhouse storyline unfold.

If J.T. knows he’s about to be exposed, he could hold Vickie (Amelia Heinle), the children, or both somewhere in order to fend off the inevitable. That play out would have a limited-length run as J.T. would be arrested, escape, or be killed.

Y&R could have J.T. escape Genoa City and go on the run. He could presumably go missing indefinitely. That would establish his return at some point in the future.

J.T.’s heart condition also enables an alternative ending. He could be hospitalized and go into a coma himself, thereby delaying justice being carried out.

Also, executive producer and head writer Mal Young could have Luckinbill’s character die. That scenario would likely play out along a parallel path to the current storyline’s conclusion.

The current arc also involves the rocky relationship that J.T. and Vickie are entangled in. Separately, it’s natural to wonder why this real life couple (Luckinbill and Heinle) broke up and how they have come to work together so naturally again. If a spark still exists, it would be great for their children (and for the actors) if they are able to reconcile one day.

As for the actors involved, applause is offered for their outstanding performances. High kudos goes to Luckinbill and Heinle, with whatever the forthcoming storyline conclusion in Genoa City.
