The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Victor Questioned By Abby and Kyle – Moustached Linked to Paternity Reveal

Kyle (Michael Mealor) knows that Victor (Eric Braeden) had the ability to do it on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Abby (Melissa Ordway) suspects her father of nefarious activity. Both characters linked the ‘Moustache’ to Jack’s (Peter Bergman) paternity reveal and are strongly questioning him about it.

As Y&R fans saw, Kyle gave Victor ammunition to use against Jack. Then he wanted it back, but the ‘Black Knight’ wouldn’t give it and said he’d keep it as a goodwill gesture on Kyle’s behalf. It wasn’t a request, but a statement to a then-forced protege.

The idea that Jack’s son would purposely confide in Victor about John (Jerry Douglas) was incredible. As Dina (Marla Adams) claimed on the footage Ravi (Abhi Sinha) rescued, Jack supposedly isn’t an Abbott. Another unknown man is apparently Jack’s father.

Use of the questioning adverbs in the last paragraph was not part of an end-of-school year grammar test. Instead they match seasoned viewers suspicions about Dina’s memory possibly not being exact. Stripping Jack of his name would be problematic in many ways, as years of Y&R’s history would need to be reconsidered and a portion of its future then opened for debate.

In all likelihood Jack will remain an Abbott. But Victor’s uncertainty compelled him to insert the stunning footage into Charlie’s (Noah Alexander Gerry) documentary, which then set all observers ablaze.

Abby and her mom (Ashley, Eileen Davidson) were shocked by Dina’s seeming admission. So they had a quickie DNA test conducted earlier this spring. Upon learning that Jack’s sample didn’t match Traci’s (Beth Maitland), they concluded he wasn’t an Abbott. Jack’s test now confirms that he and Billy (Jason Thompson) aren’t related, which still doesn’t prove Bergman’s character is out of John’s bloodline.

All the while Victor waits and watches. The movie house intruder is using the Abbott group to ferret out whatever the truth really is. As Victor told Kyle, incontrovertible evidence was needed before any moves against Jabot could be made.
