The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Victor Hurt By Nikki – Retaliates With Ashley

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) believed that she’d worked out the perfect arrangement with Victor (Eric Braeden) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Basically, they were business partners who lived at the Ranch. But the ‘Moustache’ won’t likely see it that way when the Arturo (Jason Canela) connection is revealed.As Y&R fans recall, Arturo is the contractor who was introduced when Nick (Joshua Morrow) opted to complete work at ‘Chadam’s’ penthouse. That led to him finding Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) money stash and her eventual write-out from Genoa City.

Arturo was physically introduced at Crimson Lights. He and Nick had a disagreement about the overage percentage that was claimed for the housing project Nikki and Nick are working on.

Nikki advised her son that she’d handle the matter. She later met with Arturo at the Genoa City Athletic Club and worked on a barter arrangement, which included a personal relationship.

Meanwhile, back at the Dark Tower (a hilarious new reference Jack, Peter Bergman, has offered regarding Newman Enterprises), Victor knows nothing about Nikki’s newest outside interest. His coming awareness of ‘Narturo’ doesn’t bode well for the modern incarnation of ‘Niktor’.

Jack is afraid that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will become involved with Victor now that she’s gone to work for him at Newman. Only the ‘Black Knight’ knows what his overall intentions were when he hired his one-time wife. But it stands to reason that the potential for an eventual rekindling of feelings was considered, along with the value ‘Ash’ brings to his company.

Unlike past incidents, Nikki appears to be honestly pursuing a relationship that is not a payback. She and Victor aren’t actually a couple, as he himself has stated.

Despite whatever the world believes, or his many actions, Victor is a human being. He’s also a man that loves Nikki and believes that she is his soul mate. So as soon as he becomes aware of Arturo, Ashley will become a target.

However, Nikki already anticipated ‘Vashley’ could happen and gave Ashley the go-ahead weeks ago. So it will be interesting for fans to see if Nikki will actually be upset by that projected pairing.
