The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Victor Humbled – Family and Enemies Stunned

The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Victor Humbled – Family and Enemies StunnedNo, Victor (Eric Braeden) is not immortal on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But he’s alive after having a stroke. He’ll be temporarily humbled in response to the health crisis that J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) caused, while Victor’s family members and enemies are stunned.

Everyone in Genoa City believes that Victor’s health is simply in peril. The stroke he’ll suffer will appear to be the result of a malfunctioning piece of machinery. Y&R fans and Luckinbill’s character know otherwise.

J.T. didn’t anticipate fighting with Victor before he went to the Ranch on that fateful night. He was simply following Paul’s (Doug Davidson) directive to get dirt on the ‘Black Knight’. J.T. was compromised into helping the authorities because he allowed Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) to escape punishment for embezzling from her husband.

The ‘Moustache’ leveraged video evidence of Mr. Hellstrom finding and then taking a key from the Ranch office safe. Victor was setting J.T. up, as he’d planted fake evidence in an envelope that was located underneath a locked chess board. Victor was lying in wait at the Newman estate, both men fought shortly after J.T. arrived and then the magnificently shot backward fall down the stairs was broadcast, or streamed depending on viewer preference.

Newman Enterprises Head of Security thought his boss was dead or would die. So J.T. allowed Victor to remain in the foyer and didn’t call for an ambulance. He subsequently attempted to kill Victor twice at Genoa City Memorial Hospital. The first strike wasn’t able to be completed, but the second impulse attack (turning off Victor’s medical machine) caused the stroke to happen.

Everyone in GC is used to seeing Victor win. Knowledge of him lying defenseless in a hospital bed and then suffering a stroke is almost unthinkable, yet it does define Victor’s current reality.

As the Newman family braces for the worst, Victor’s enemies, including J.T. are preparing for life without one of Y&R’s greatest characters. While Victor Newman isn’t immortal, his heart is still beating. That rightfully scares the life out of J.T. Hellstrom, whose days are numbered.
