The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Victoria To Dump J.T. – Shocking End To Relationship

Vickie (Amelia Heinle) thought she could make things work with J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But that was never going to happen because of Mr. Hellstrom’s transformation from a normal human being into a monster.

The manner in which Y&R developed the return storyline for this character is worthy of debate, but not today. For now, it’s being accepted in order to further this spoiler article.

Vickie had some uneasy feelings about J.T. in recent months. However, it seemed as though a remarriage was inevitable after their spark was quickly reignited. Her former husband’s return to Genoa City wasn’t intended as a makeup pitch, but chemistry is what it is and ‘J.T.V.’ was back on again.

Feelings turned to panic when J.T. grabbed Vickie by the neck and shoved her against the wall. His punch into the closet door further confirmed that something was deeply wrong. Whether J.T. is being affected by a serious illness, is over-medicating, or is acting this way for another reason will soon be revealed.

Mackenzie’s (Kelly Kruger) words of wisdom were a direct warning to Vickie. That exchange along with Sharon’s (Sharon Case) suggestion to seek relationship counseling provided a very brief amount of hope that progress could be made.

But the coming revelation about who caused Victor’s (Eric Braeden) medical condition will end ‘J.T.V.’ once and for all. Whether J.T. dies as that happens, shortly thereafter or not at all hasn’t been fully confirmed. Just know that the climax to this arc has reached crescendo.

Major character impact will be felt across Genoa City as a result. Vickie’s life will be disrupted, but at least she’ll be free from further danger. Reed’s (Tristan Lake Leabu) already quixotic existence will be undercut once more.

Jack (Peter Bergman) will be freed from prison. He’ll use that release to battle his son, who appears to be linked to the ‘Moustache’.

As for J.T.’s victim, Victor, well he’s always been invincible. That stature isn’t likely to change regardless of his perilous status.
