The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Vickie Shaken By J.T.’s Erratic Behavior – Heart Issue Exposed

J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) continues to act erratically on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Soapy circumstances appear to be clouding Vickie’s (Amelia Heinle) reasoning because her significant other’s behavior clearly appears connected to his heart issue.

Initially, it seemed as though ‘J.T.V.’ was working through a normal period of reconciliation, where a past divorce was involved. It was natural to expect a hashing out of unresolved issues from their marriage. But as time moved forward, Vickie has increasingly been the target of J.T.’s irrational outbursts.

Seeing ‘Villy’ on the Valentine’s Day night dance floor at the Top of the Tower likely would provoke some reaction from most ex-husband’s in similar circumstances. But J.T. allowed his perceptions to carry him away. He had ‘J.T.V’s’ table cleared and then insisted that he was leaving. Vickie was flabbergasted but followed.

When this seemingly revived couple arrived home, J.T. let loose. He rebranded Vickie’s house as the location where she once lived with Billy (Jason Thompson). After his supposed love interest calmly countered that assessment she also asked J.T. to calm down because the children might wake up.

J.T. discarded Reed’s (Tristan Lake Leabu) existence when he told Vickie that Billy’s children (referring to Johnny, Ryan and Holden Hare, along with Katie, Sienna Mercuri) were upstairs. That point, in particular, was disturbing but continued a pattern.

A flashback to Crimson Lights reaffirms J.T.’s recent history of odd behavior. As Y&R fans recall, he pushed Reed to the back area of the coffee house after his son disagreed with him.

More recently, J.T. questioned Vickie’s commitment to him while standing in her office at Newman Enterprises. He’d just begun his job as head of security, which didn’t seem to have an effect on his overall outlook.

J.T.’s prescribed medication, used for what he’s termed as an existing heart issue, which is related to being electrocuted years ago, is obviously creating side effects. Yet he’s unable to see what’s happening, which makes Y&R observers wonder why Vickie remains blind to this point?

Is Y&R setting up J.T.’s heart attack, or worse in the imminent future? Luckinbill did state, upon his return to the show, that his character’s storyline might only last until February or March. Everyone knows the current calendar date, which means some type of dramatic event is likely approaching.
