The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Tessa In Danger – Mariah Seeks Answers

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is rightfully worried on ‘The Young and the Restless’. The last time she spoke to Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) was weeks ago. That conversation was interrupted by an unknown entity and has never been followed by a subsequent communication.

Has Tessa been held hostage ever since? Is she and her sister, Crystal (Morgan Obenreder), in some other type of danger? Possibly both ladies are well and Tessa just hasn’t been able to reach out to Mariah for different reasons.

It was smart for Mariah to reach out to a private investigator. Ideally, she should also let Paul (Doug Davidson) know what happened. He could make contact with colleagues in Canada in an attempt to determine Tessa’s status.

As Y&R viewers recall, Crystal was led into a human trafficking ring. Over time she was able to break free of it, but erased Zack (Ryan Ashton) in the process. Due to that fact and the people he was connected to it makes sense to believe that Crystal has remained in danger.

Tessa’s need to leave Genoa City a handful of weeks ago was going to include Mariah. Grimes’ character packed her bags and was going to leave the cottage without informing Sharon (Sharon Case). Tragic events involving Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and her unborn baby caused Mariah to change her mind and remain in town.

As the writing staff has returned to this storyline viewers are right to think that Tessa will soon be seen again. Whether Mariah travels north from Wisconsin to help her is yet to be known. However, Miss Copeland is not one to let situations linger. Sure, she’s been conflicted by the emotions of what may be a serious problem, but the lack of noted contact will soon enable her to take further action.

Fairbanks stellar work on Y&R has led to her ongoing presence in the cast. She, along with Grimes, appear likely to dually resolve whatever conflict has arisen. Hopefully, Tessa, Crystal, and Mariah are safe through whatever climax is delivered to this classic steamer’s daytime audience.
