The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Tessa Blackmailer Bombshell – Mariah Discovers Secret

If someone acts like a blackmailer on ‘The Young and the Restless’ that doesn’t necessarily mean she is one. However, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) has tons of loose cash stored in a duffel bag and just removed a lot more from a mattress Mariah (Camryn Grimes) threw out. So, what is the green-colored secret Miss Porter is keeping?

No one has ever seen the supposed coyotes that Tessa used to (again supposedly) transport Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) across an open border between the United States and Canada. Mariah was told this summer that bad people were still after Tessa’s sister, but nothing more than Fairbanks’ character’s voice was heard on the phone after that event was said to have happened.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Was Tessa Really Assaulted?

Upon returning to Genoa City, Tessa then claimed to have been physically assaulted inside Crimson Lights by the dark forces she owed money to for having helped Crystal. Skin bruises accompanied that apparent money collection effort and no witnesses were present.

What type of underground world figure would allow Tessa to fulfill a five-figure payment plan over the course of an indefinite number of months? That alone is suspicious, but is still generally plausible in soapland.

If all that Tessa said is true to-date, then it would seem like she would be a key person of interest as the one who’s been blackmailing the coverup crew. There were various opportunities for her to have overheard Sharon (Sharon Case) talking with the other members of this pressured group at Crimson Lights. Invented flashback scenes could verify that moment and Tessa’s subsequent money demand plan via email.

It could well be that Mariah, who’s been playing the poor soul since her inception, might be getting duped right now. Yes, Tessa could simply be using her on a partial, or full level to solve complex problems.
