The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Tessa Advances Career and Relationships – 2018 Will Be A Big Year

Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) enjoyed a great year in 2017 on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But she also faced drama, as her sister’s life was put in jeopardy and Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) developing importance in her life grew. Now, as 2018 dawns Miss Porter should expect progress on personal and business fronts.

Y&R is broadcasting a repeat show on New Year’s Day in the United States. Canadian viewers have already revisited Tessa’s opening act that preceded Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) concert.

A lot has transpired in Genoa City since Victor (Eric Braeden) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) orchestrated that event. In Tessa’s part of this world, she continued to develop her relationship with Noah (Robert Adamson). Mariah’s feelings simultaneously injected an unexpected consideration that was subsequently put on hold.

Business wise, Devon’s (Bryton James) streaming service has been helping to promote Tessa’s burgeoning career. Going from being a complete unknown as 2017 began, to a rising star in the music world represents incredible progress in a short time span.

Some cast aside the success others enjoy, choosing to believe that random chance allows the chosen few to win in life. That purposeful outlook derives from limited views certain personality types have about their own lives, among other perception problems.

In general, many people get ahead by developing their talent, persisting, taking risks and working hard. Of course there are people who have doors opened for them, as Tessa did.

However, this good soul was playing for tips outside of Crimson Lights when Nikki happened upon her. Mrs. Newman took Tessa under her wing. That led to Reed’s (Tristan Lake Leabu) musical training and getting to know Noah.

The Underground served as the perfect platform for Tessa to showcase her talent. Devon knew she possessed a special quality and quickly signed her to a contract.

While personal issues will often be fluid in the lives of many soap characters, Tessa’s music career appears set to definitely soar in the New Year. Depending upon Y&R’s choice, a personal relationship of some type will advance as well.
