The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Sharon and Phyllis Work Well Together – Shyllis Protecting Nick

Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) have had their issues on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But they’ve done more than put them aside in recent days. ‘Shyllis’ are actually a good tandem. Their goal is to prevent Nick (Joshua Morrow) from marrying Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and probably tell him that Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) isn’t his son.

Kevin’s (Greg Rikaart) opportune return to town played into Phyllis’ need for protected information. Mr. Fischer initially ejected a request to retrieve desired Genoa City Police Department information. But he later gave Phyllis information needed to access the system Paul (Doug Davidson) oversees.

A trip to the GCPD proved fruitful. Sharon tried to access Adam’s (Justin Hartley) DNA sample via the Crisis Center computers. But that wasn’t possible. So she left the Crisis Center room and carefully made her way over to Kevin’s old desk.

Paul spotted Sharon at the computer, but bought her story about the Center’s computer’s freezing up. She then accessed and printed Adam’s DNA particulars.

Longtime fans may have forgotten and newer viewers didn’t know that Phyllis worked in a laboratory earlier in her life. That was when she looked exactly like Michelle Stafford, which today’s Phyllis likely wouldn’t admit to.

Phyllis has quite a memory and apparently has somehow stayed attuned to current terminology. Both factors allowed her to read the printout Sharon had given her. In so doing Phyllis determined that Christian was Adam’s son. That’s right, Chelsea wasn’t bluffing.

At this point in the storyline, Chelsea is feeling pressure. ‘Shyllis’ will use this incredible confirm to apply more force to the woman who’s now set to marry Nick sometime this summer. The postponed ‘Chick’ nuptial date might cause Phyllis and her new best friend (but not really) Sharon to withhold the Christian reveal from Nick.

At this point in real life, Egan’s final Y&R scenes are set to be aired in March. So devoted viewers know that Chelsea is leaving. What they don’t know if Nick will lose his son.

So will Nick’s two ex-wives withhold that information from him because they won’t be willing to break his heart after he suffers the loss of his current significant other? Although, this issue could be rendered moot if its forced out before Chelsea departs.
