The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Schick In Danger – Will Sharon Learn About Nick’s Cheating Before Wedding

Sharon (Sharon Case) saw Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) hugging in the atrium at Crimson Lights on ‘The Young and the Restless’. ‘Phick’ bonded in a different way recently at Summer’s (Hunter King) condo. Sharon doesn’t know about that yet, thankfully.

In the first-referenced instance Nick and Phyllis were sharing an innocent moment, as news of Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) imminent demise was discussed. Sharon witnessed the natural reaction the formerly married couple had. Of course, she and Nick are a formerly married couple as well.

‘Shick’ is, or was, on track to get remarried this fall. They were standing at the altar in the fall of 2014 as well, as hardcore Y&R fans remember. Nick didn’t marry Sharon at that time because Phyllis was just recast in the form of Tognoni. The new version of this character willed her way out of a coma and hitchhiked from the south to Genoa City, Wisconsin, just in time to stop what was going to be ‘Shick’ Part II.

As long as Sharon doesn’t learn about the dalliance Nick and Phyllis shared, ‘Shick’ will likely get remarried by the time leaves fall. However, Y&R fans are right to wonder if this round of nuptials will be realized, or long they’ll endure whenever this reveal happens?

The idea that this one-time super couple would once again be thwarted is very frustrating. Y&R must have written them all the way back together during the past year-plus in order to see ‘Shick’ realized, right?

Phyllis (as then famously played by Michelle Stafford) helped to destroy Sharon and Nick’s marriage after Cassie (Camryn Grimes) died in 2005. However, Nick’s veer toward Phyllis can’t be blamed on the character that was then played by Stafford. He made his own choice via free will, as evolved minds believe that humans aren’t robots.

Now, in the summer of 2018, Nick has again betrayed Sharon’s trust. Case’s character is far more mature than she was 13 years ago, or even as late as last fall. So there’s no way to know how she’ll respond when she learns the truth.
