The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Rey Reveal Means Shick Trouble – Wedding Plans Jeopardized

So Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) is a police officer on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Nick (Joshua Morrow) learns that when he’s arrested this week. The event spells the start of trouble for ‘Shick’, which immediately throws their upcoming wedding plans into the soapy air.

Debt collector? No, Rey is part of Paul’s (Doug Davidson) contingent and that proves to be a major problem for Nick, who unlawfully used J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) credit line as part of his successful effort to torment Victor (Eric Braeden) and establish Dark Horse.

It appears as though Rey doesn’t know that J.T. should be referred to in the past tense. With however that reality is confirmed, and it surely will be as this spring storyline is about to flow into fall, Nick’s legal trouble could soon morph from a money matter to murder.

Meanwhile, back at the cottage, Sharon (Sharon Case) will be sweating it out because she’s actually in much deeper danger than her once and potentially-again husband. She rightly questioned Rey’s truthfulness the moment he pulled a gun out and then hauled an unexpectedly returned Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) into ‘Shick’s’ once upon a time honeymoon house.

Nick has no idea that his fiance was caught up in J.T.’s unexpected, accidental offing that foolishly wasn’t reported to the authorities. He still believes that Mr. Hellstrom is living somewhere outside of Genoa City.

Since J.T. is, in all likelihood, dead Nick doesn’t realize that Sharon, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Vickie (Amelia Heinle), and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) remain in serious jeopardy. Among the entire coverup crew, Sharon is not in the greatest peril, as Nikki did the deed. But the other three ladies helped Mrs. Newman transport J.T. to Chancellor Park, where he apparently remains buried.

It’s fair to wonder if the proposed ‘Shick’ wedding will be held on time, or happen at all, since the nuptials are supposed to take place in a matter of weeks. Rey had orders that he needed to carry out, but they’ve surely messed up Sharon and Nick’s lives and possibly their plan to remarry.
