The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Arturo And Abby A Good Match – Will Jealous Nikki Interfere?

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) wanted Victor (Eric Braeden) and Arturo (Jason Canela) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But the ‘Moustache’s’ health crisis ended ‘Narturo’s’ brief run.

Arturo is a ladies’ man. He spotted Abby (Melissa Ordway) and quickly made a friend. A short time later, Victor’s daughter asked him to jet to Miami. Their unseen trip furthered the burgeoning relationship.

Nikki previously saw ‘Abturo’ together and warned her once-boyfriend. She didn’t want him but also didn’t want him being with Abby. Arturo basically told Nikki that he’d see who he wanted and the two agreed to continue working together.

New Hope is a project that Nikki and Nick (Joshua Morrow) feel passionate about. Their sudden interest in housing apparently allows them to believe that they’re improving Genoa City. Whether that’s true can’t be fully measured, as subjective, hidden curriculum storylines aren’t exactly science experiments with discernible outcomes.

Arturo wasn’t created as a character with this building project at Chancellor Park in mind. Instead, he was introduced as a romantic interest for Nikki and now for Abby. The resultant personal conflicts between Nikki and Arturo and now, between Nikki and Abby represents the overlying themes of daytime.

Abby hasn’t made wise love choices in recent years. Zack (Ryan Ashton) was the most recent example of Abby’s instincts being off-center. However, it feels like Arturo is actually a good match for her this time.

Nikki is smart, but like many GC characters, gets off-track when it comes to matters of the heart. Actually, scores of fellow Y&R observers will likely surely admit that they too become distracted about these types of emotional matters. Such is the life of individuals on either side of the screen.

Victor is sure to hear from his daughter about Nikki’s insertion into ‘Abturo’s’ personal business. Possibly Nikki will speak to the ‘Moustache’ about the matter as well. In either regard or both regards, Victor will likely ward off Arturo from his daughter. That’s the likely next spark to be seen.
