The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Nikki Dumps Arturo – Niktor Restored For Awhile

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) wasn’t with Victor (Eric Braeden) when J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) left him for dead on ‘The Young and the Restless’. She was with Arturo (Jason Canela), who the ‘Moustache’ now rightly suspects is her significant other.

An accidental view of the Genoa City Athletic Club allowed Nikki to see Arturo chatting up Abby (Melissa Ordway). That’s the second time he’s purposely interacted with Nikki’s step-daughter in recent weeks. When questioned about it, Mr. Rosales advised that they weren’t involved, with the word yet being implied.

Considering all that’s happened, Nikki is dumping Arturo. Her decision comes as Victor is telling her to fire this apparent contractor. Victor suggested that she would have trouble with Arturo if he was allowed to remain part of the New Hope project that she and Nick (Joshua Morrow) are developing at Chancellor Park.

The above appears to be establishing a plot path toward the area where J.T. is buried. The stiff seems likely to be dug up, or otherwise found. Seasoned Y&R viewers surely think that this open arc won’t go unresolved indefinitely, or even through May Sweeps. So, the dissolution of ‘Narturo’ could be leading to the reveal of Mr. Hellstrom’s remains.

‘Niktor’ previously agreed to an open arrangement where both people would do as they please. That seemed untenable, which Victor’s recent interaction with Arturo appears to be proving. And whoever thought that Nikki would go her own way without any reprisal from Mr. Newman?

Y&R’s greatest-ever couple surely is better together than apart. So, for the time being, ‘Niktor’ seems likely to be as one.

Helen (Sitara Hewitt) seems to have been a dalliance, who’s also now gone. Whether that appealing actor will remain in the cast is yet to be seen.

Nikki will surely want Victor’s full assistance once her role in J.T.’s demise is exposed. A better way to gain that help will be through loyalty to the ‘Black Knight’s’, rather than by going against the grain.
