The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Nikki and Accomplices Trailed – Paul Searching For Clues

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) would claim that she acted in defense of her daughter on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Vickie’s (Amelia Heinle) mother would claim as much if her actions are ever revealed. But Mrs. Newman and her accomplices are hoping that Paul’s (Doug Davidson) search for clues comes up empty. That unlikely outcome would allow a clean break from what took place.

The removal of J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) from Genoa City isn’t exactly an accurate way to describe what happened to this once-normal character. Vickie’s one-time husband and Reed’s (Tristan Lake Leabu) forever father is still on the grounds, or actually under them.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) believes he can find the trail of the man who was revealed to have attacked his father. But the younger Newman actually is searching aimlessly. J.T. was turned into an isolated B-movie-like monster and is probably in the otherworld. His remains might be accidentally found by Arturo’s (Jason Canela) workers, or never unearthed.

Probably? Yes, savvy soap fans caught that word within the last paragraph. It would seem impossible for anyone to endure what J.T. did and somehow revive himself. But viewers were only shown snippets of Nikki’s quartet’s post-event efforts at Chancellor Park. So, fans can never say never in daytime land.

Let’s assume that J.T. is no more, which would make logical sense. As long as Nikki, Vickie, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Sharon (Sharon Case) stick to their story, Paul and his officers aren’t likely to find enough information to solve the mystery of the missing forced freelance agent.

Yes, Paul and Christine (Lauralee Bell) played a role in J.T.’s devolution. ‘Pristine’ just admitted as much to themselves when talking in Paul’s office. However, they’ll probably only ever face internal consequences for the pressure they applied.

Many factors were presented as having pushed J.T. over the edge. His grudge against Victor (Eric Braeden) regarding Colleen’s (Tammin Sursok) death. Career setbacks. Life’s pressures were said to have made up the rest. Those incidents and a purposeful lack of humanizing elements positioned Mr. Hellstrom to literally become the fall guy. And now Nikki and her accomplices are hoping no one ever learns how his final act played out.
