The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Nick Right To Be Troubled – Chelsea Sees Walls Closing

Nick (Joshua Morrow) wanted to finish what his contractor started on ‘The Young and the Restless’. He was attempting to complete the work that Arturo’s (Jason Canela) crew started in the penthouse bathroom. Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) significant other removed a vent, stacks of bundled cash fell down and so too did ‘Chick’s’ relationship.

Chelsea’s relationship with Nick is over. The episode where ‘Chick’ ends will air soon. Viewers are simply watching the lead-in to that cut-off now.

Egan recently announced that she’s voluntarily leaving the cast of Y&R. Devotees of this site were aware of that news and have been watching to see how Chelsea’s run ends.

A Genoa City resident since 2011, Chelsea’s greatest love, Adam’s (Michael Muhney and Justin Hartley during Egan’s time on the show), past advice inspired her to create a rainy day fund. So she established a clone website, stole clothing that was sold to Fenmores and pocketed the realized loot. Her Alexandra West persona, including a wigged costume, covered said duplicity along with a now-closed bank account.

This shocking tack was taken because of Victor’s (Eric Braeden) threats to expose her knowledge of Christian’s (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) true paternity. Rightly believing that the ‘Moustache’ would crush her world one day, Chelsea prepared a backup plan.

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) recently pieced together enough information to pressure an expected confession from Chelsea. While Connor’s (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) mother has yet to admit her crime, she surely sees the walls closing in.

Nick knows something is wrong. He’s taken Phyllis into his confidence, now accepting her claims about Chelsea. Nick also sought Sharon’s (Sharon Case) counsel and was told to trust his gut.

‘Chick’ likely wouldn’t be ending if Egan wasn’t leaving. But she is and so this synergistic couple is over. How that happens and when are two questions that will keep Y&R fans watching. But they also want to know what will become of Connor and when Chelsea leaves will she somehow meet an undead Adam?
