The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Nick Needs Sharon’s Help To Defeat Victor and Regain Christian

Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) marriage proposal on ‘The Young and the Restless’ was sincere. Sharon’s (Sharon Case) acceptance of it will allow a restored ‘Shick’ to serve as a more formidable joint force against Victor (Eric Braeden).

Considering Faith’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind) immediate reaction to what her grandfather did as evidence piece number one. He’s alienated someone who previously chooses to live with him, instead of her parents.

Nick’s earnest efforts are isolating Victor. As Y&R fans know, one of the reasons why Braeden’s character doesn’t want ‘Shick’ split is because when that pairing is united Nick becomes a stronger man.

At one point in time, Sharon was one of Victor’s staunchest allies. Incredibly, she also married the man when he was incarcerated! Their nuptials were platonic, as the brief strategic union was created to serve a specific purpose at that point in those character’s lives.

Nick has actually fallen back in love with Sharon, as she has with him. The truth she told about Christian’s (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) true paternity allowed this one-time married couple to come full-circle. The trust Sharon regained was real, allowing Nick to once again open his heart to the lady who was always, inarguably, his greatest love.

Victor will not be able to garner Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) unwavering support, due to the lingering J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) demise issues. Sharon warned Nikki that she would be exposed. While Nikki countered that threat with one of her own, she can’t be certain that Sharon will remain silent. That appears to be the reason why Nikki claimed to have a Multiple Sclerosis flair-up. Hopefully, that serious health issue isn’t actually back.

Of course, this entire storyline could easily transform into one of the more epic arcs in modern Y&R history if Adam (Justin Hartley) is still alive and returns. His rights would supersede whatever legal victory Victor has gained, or may achieve.

Prior to the above happening (hopefully), Nick will be bolstered by Sharon’s love and support. She’s fully behind Nick’s passioned effort to do right by the boy he thinks of as his son. Victor’s too arrogant to believe Nick, or ‘Shick’ can defeat him. But he just might be proven wrong.
