The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Nick Learns Nikki’s Secret – Another Parent Problem Exists

Nick (Joshua Morrow) believed that he and his mother were doing good work on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But he didn’t know that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) was cavorting with Arturo (Jason Canela), the contractor who’s leading their redevelopment project.

While ‘Niktor’ has a so-called arrangement with Victor (Eric Braeden), Nick’s pressing concern actually leads with Rainbow Gardens. That’s the housing development he and his mom are heading with the paid hands that Arturo’s family contracting company provides.

As Y&R viewers recall, Nick and Arturo didn’t get along at first. They clashed on the overage percentage that Arturo claimed was needed. Nikki took over from there, formed her relationship with this much younger man and ta da, the overrun amount dropped to ten percent instead of the requested higher double-digit amount.

Nick actually touted Arturo as someone who he’s become friends with over time. Sharon (Sharon Case) was pleased to hear that and encouraged her potential on-again significant other to recognize his own high character. Nick’s perception that Nikki and Arturo have violated his own principals could easily lead to trouble within this trio.

Learning that Nikki is romantically linked to Arturo is hardly comparable to discovering that Victor was fueling Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) vendetta against Adam (Justin Hartley), which led to his apparent death. But there are two problems that have to be addressed by the reveal Nick just unexpectedly witnessed.

Nikki will have to explain herself to Nick once he confronts her about this situation. It’s a matter that could potentially affect their housing project plans negatively if all goes south with Nikki’s new personal interest. Obvious Victor issues must also be discussed, as Nikki likely doesn’t want him to learn about ‘Narturo’, despite their supposedly negotiated arrangement that’s based at the Ranch.

Y&R wrote Victor into a scene at the Genoa City Athletic Club where Arturo was apparently about to inadvertently blow ‘Narturo’s’ cover. That moment surely made viewers wonder if Victor was, or will soon be wise to Nikki’s dealings?

With whatever happens moving forward, Nick now knows that his mom is not without blame. While Victor’s past betrayals will never be forgotten, Nick’s new perspective should allow him to see what ‘Niktor’ actually is.
