The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Neil See’s Dina’s Video – Jack’s Paternity Reveal

Neil (Kristoff St. John) saw his grandson at Crimson Lights on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) was working for Abby (Melissa Ordway), creating the Dina (Marla Adams) memory saver video. The intent of this scene was to telegraph a coming paternity reveal, which could happen this month.

Abby and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) thought they’d destroyed the footage that showed Dina saying John (Jerry Douglas) wasn’t Jack’s (Peter Bergman) real father. The flash drive containing that bit of digital danger was thrown in the Abbott family fireplace. But Kyle (Michael Mealor) happened to see what his seeming non-biological cousin and aunt were doing from the stairs.

Kyle’s retrieval of the the drive gave him power. Jack’s son knew they weren’t Abbott’s as soon as he watched the flick. An easy assumption would have Kyle asking Charlie to insert the dramatic portion of said contents into the final cut. He’ll want to take advantage of a young man who’s working his first professional job.

As Y&R viewers recall, Charlie told his grandfather that he wasn’t pleased with the edits to-date and was starting over. Neil appreciated his initiative and told him to remember that the work he was doing was just the start of his career.

On a side note, it’s great to see St. John back with the cast. He looks healthy and happy. All fans are pleased that this good soul is doing well.

If the proposed plot plays out as anticipated, Kyle could potentially preserve his innocence. How he manipulates the fallout and tries to control Victor’s (Eric Braeden) involvement remains to be seen.

Separately, Kyle was able to get Billy (Jason Thompson) on board with dropping the blood-Abbott clause. Jack appreciated and considered the two-pronged pitch, but opted to stick with the status quo.

The above apparently means that Bill will be primed to become Jabot’s Chief Executive Officer when it’s revealed that Jack and Kyle aren’t Abbott’s. Kyle will surely have to work another angle in the meantime, or shortly thereafter if his take-down plan is to succeed.
