The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Mishael Morgan Still On Y&R Cast List – Hilary’s Ghost Episodes Ahead?

Mishael Morgan (Hilary) publicly announced her voluntary departure from the cast of ‘The Young and the Restless’ earlier this year. Then, her final recording date came, along with a fond sendoff party this summer. However, a photo of Morgan’s reappearance on Y&R’s set was seen on social media in recent weeks. So, will Hilary soon be seen in ghostly form?

Y&R just updated its cast list page by adding Brooks Darnell (Nate). He was Hilary’s final debater and doctor. In having made that digital update, why wasn’t Morgan’s photo removed?

There’s no doubt that Morgan has left the show and has not inked a new contract. The actor parted on an upbeat note and is currently expecting her second child. Her approximately delivery date projects to be somewhere near the turn of the year.

Hilary also isn’t alive. So, there will be no back-from-the-dead scenario unfolding. However, the deceased version of this character could surely appear to a number of Genoa City residents in the near future.

Devon (Bryton James) and Lily (Christel Khalil) would certainly be prime targets for Hilary’s specter. Mr. Hamilton has quickly descended to bitterness and is pursuing a vengeful form of justice against his sister, who he cites as the cause of the death of his unborn child and wife.

Lily is facing sentencing for two counts of vehicular homicide, though both points were accidental. Mrs. Ashby wasn’t under any influence and did not have a smartphone in her hand, so she was a not texting. The only distraction that caused her to fatefully not stop at that red light was, well, Hilary.

It’s easy to project Morgan’s character appearing to her grieving husband. She would surely give him a ghostly tongue-lashing for blaming Lily. Hilary could also come to help sooth Lily’s conscience about the car crash, as both ladies parted with heartfelt goodwill.

Separate from the above, it would be fully funny and fitting if Hilary scared the heck out of Mariah (Camryn Grimes). Hilary’s sidekick is a prime candidate for a purposely cheeky otherworldly visit, which would also wink hard at Mariah having gas-lighted Sharon (Sharon Case) by portraying Cassie’s (also Grimes) ghost.

Many deceased Y&R characters have returned after exiting GC. Why not have the lady who loved screen time stand at center stage again by coming down from Heaven, uh, or across from Purgatory?
