The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Mia Rosales Heading For Genoa City – Rey’s Wife Written Into Y&R

The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Mia Rosales Heading For Genoa City – Rey's Wife Written Into Y&RMia (Noemi Gonzales) will arrive on ‘The Young and the Restless’ during November Sweeps Month. The lady Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) has occasionally referenced through a grimace seems primed to stir the soapy pot.

Rey’s backstory remains generally mysterious. Viewers don’t really know what happened between him and his wife. Whether they will be nicknamed ‘Mey’, or ‘Ria‘ probably depends on Gonzales’ has a limited-run, recurring, or regular contract.

Mia would seem to be a threat to the potential romance Rey seems to be heading toward with Sharon (Sharon Case). It’s clear that ‘Shick’ remains possible, as Sharon and Nick (Joshua Morrow) have remained within each other’s scenes and are gearing up for a family Halloween, trick-or-treat event. Though Nick’s apparent ex-fiance doesn’t want to tag Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) and maybe Faith’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind) seasonal jaunt with that warm term.

Sharon knee-jerked into asking Rey to see a movie this week, while Vickie (Amelia Heinle) was watching from the back of Crimson Lights. Rey took the request as a date and mentioned Nick’s warning. Sharon said she wasn’t requesting a date and then went to see her true love at Dark Horse.

Y&R fans also don’t know what problems existed with the Rosales’ patriarch. Rey’s father has been mentioned, hauntingly, by Arturo (Jason Canela) and Lola (Sasha Calle). But the dialogue was fleeting and hasn’t been followed by facts to-date.

One could assume that a family matter created a split, or possible that the head of the Rosales’ family may have experienced some type of legal trouble. Rey’s role as a police officer could have lent itself to a pained decision, which involved his dad and created a protective response from Arturo.

Mia will come into existence to help lengthen Rey’s backstory and may stay awhile. Her addition increases Genoa City’s first new family since Michael Baldwin’s (Christian Le Blanc) clan extended in 2003, with the addition of Kevin (Greg Rikaart). So, with whatever role Mia will play, it’s clear that the intriguing Rosales’ family is becoming prominent in this fictional Wisconsin town.
