The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Kyle Withholds Intel – Billy and Jack Still Wiser

Kyle (Michael Mealor) hasn’t told a soul what he knows on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Learning that Jack (Peter Bergman) isn’t part of John’s (Jerry Douglas) bloodline is major intel. This withheld information is also why Billy (Jason Thompson) doesn’t know he was played by his nephew.

Oh, he’s slick. Viewers have to cede that point. Kyle played the outsider card with Billy, a one-time infamous poker face himself.

Billy’s buy-in was understandable, as Kyle’s pitch was within the strike zone. Though fans heard this stereotyped millennial claim to his dad that he’s moved on from baseball, as the game is like watching paint dry. Ah, shallow, old-fashioned minds across the ages have long believed that speed beats depth. Kyle’s personality type merely sees exterior realities, while also believing that all other’s internal clocks have been checked.

So Billy agreed with Kyle. It would be good for the Abbott family if Jack dropped the blood Abbott clause in Jabot’s bylaws. Together, this part of the Abbott family openly pled their case to Jack. He appreciated the dual effort and considered the apparent goodwill intent. But Jack opted to retain the legal language in order to protect what Jabot has been and will hopefully continue being.

Kyle could care less about Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson, 2018’s Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series-Winner) feelings. After watching Dina’s (Marla Adams) interview, via the thumb drive Ravi (Abhi Sinha) repaired, Kyle knows that he can’t access Jabot’s high chair.

Jack and therefore Kyle aren’t blood Abbott’s. So Kyle’s plan to take over what actually isn’t his family company remains stymied for the moment. But this young whippersnapper is irascible, which means he’ll keep scheming.

Now Billy has been at this game far longer than his nephew and Jack to greater degree than both younger Abbott’s. However, Kyle won’t slow his step because he believes he’s smarter than the older guys. Yes, timeless principles, like wisdom are often lost on those who feel entitled.
