The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Kyle Believes in Destiny – Victor Is Intrigued

Kyle (Michael Mealor) won’t stop on ‘The Young and the Restless’. He felt entitled to a place at Jabot’s big boys’ and girls’ table before returning to Genoa City. Now, armed with information about his father’s paternity, Kyle believes in destiny.

Meanwhile, Victor (Eric Braeden) has maintained his unholy tie to Jack’s (Peter Bergman) son. The recovering ‘Black Knight’ doesn’t know what Kyle has learned, as Mealor’s character is purposely withholding his weapon for what he thinks will have a maximum impact effect.

Kyle’s hint to the ‘Moustache’ that a great unknown element can change everything was meant to keep his assumed ally intrigued, but at bay. This young Abbott, or whatever his actual last name should be, is sharp. He knows that Victor can’t be allowed to take hold of the situation, as Kyle wants to direct what happens to his non-biological grandfather’s cosmetics company.

Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) don’t know that Kyle pocketed the thumb drive that was thrown into the fireplace. However, his use of Ravi (Abhi Sinha) to restore the digital contents could bode well. One would think that, even though they are no longer a couple, Ravi would casually mention having handled Kyle’s task to Ashley in the near future. When that happens, the information game will be primed to change.

Jack is suspicious of Kyle, as is Billy (Jason Thompson). But neither brother is aware of the lengths that this engaging character has already gone, or is willing to go.

The wave that’s building against Jack must change, unless Y&R has written Kyle back into the show to become a legit power player. As long as someone, be it Ravi, Ashley, Abby, Dina (Marla Adams) or even Kyle himself, inadvertently, tips anyone who’s loyal to Jack, or Jack, off, the possibility of preserving Jabot, as the Abbott family knows it, lives.

Tenured viewers recall that Jabot was lost years ago, due to Jack’s mistake. Today’s developing storyline affords the potential for him to defends John’s legacy, while also likely learning that the man was not his father.
