The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Jack Temporarily Beaten By Victor – Dina’s Recall and DNA Test Questioned

Jack (Peter Bergman) is discombobulated, again, on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Though, to be fair, any character in Genoa City would be reeling after publicly learning that one’s paternity seemingly wasn’t real.

Dina (Marla Adams) was shown in splices. She stated that Jack wasn’t John’s (Jerry Douglas) son. Somehow Victor (Eric Braeden) inserted the taboo footage into Charlie’s (Noah Alexander Gerry) well-crafted documentary.

As Kyle (Michael Mealor) sat frozen, the miraculously healed ‘Moustache’ glowed while aside of his supposed protege. Yes, soap fans took note of Victor’s rapid rebound from his mini-stroke. From wheelchair to tuxedoed intrusion at the movie theater within days.

Jack couldn’t believe what he’d seen. Dina, skipping in and out of reality, had done it again. She’d rearranged the deck chairs on Titanic Abbott. But were Madame Mergeron’s words evidence? No.

Oddly, Victor just told Kyle that he needed incontrovertible evidence that Jack wasn’t John’s son before their side deal could be completed. Still, apparently without said proof, Victor took the memory stick (flash drive, thumb drive, or whatever tag Y&R fans want to apply to this digital information keeper) and used it ahead of schedule.

Victor hasn’t revealed himself as the person who publicly exposed the Abbott family’s latest secret. So it seems as though he’s calculated Jack’s humiliation as part of a process. The Abbott’s will now be forced to seek definitive proof of paternity. In effect, Victor manipulated the movie house attendees to turn Dina’s children into drones.

Devoted viewers and readers of this site know that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) had a quickie DNA test conducted after initially seeing Dina’s reveal. But they merely tested samples of Jack’s and Traci’s (Beth Maitland) hair against each other, which proved they are not brother and sister. That actually confirmed nothing about either’s connection to John.

The setup seems to be that Jack, or Traci, isn’t John’s child. Thus the headline to this feature was written and the contents of this article, along with the savvy thoughts of millions of Y&R fans, are being digested. Hmm, Traci isn’t the Abbott!
