The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: J.T. Wants Victor To Perish – Victoria Faces Shock

J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) wants Victor (Eric Braeden) to perish on ‘The Young and the Restless’. As long as the ‘Moustache’ remains alive there’s a chance that he’ll revive. If that happens Vickie (Amelia Heinle) will face the shock of her life.

Well, let’s amend that last sentence by saying that Victoria will face the most recent shock of her life. As Genoa City fans know, she’s had many during her post-SORAS years which began when Heather Tom first embodied this character in 1990.

Everyone in the Newman family is preparing for the worst as Victor lies in his hospital bed. He has sepsis and appears to be fading. Never has Braeden’s character looked weaker.

Victor’s fall down the stairs at the Ranch was forced, as J.T. knows. He left him lying there after both men fought. The only way Mr. Hellstrom will avoid arrest and prosecution, along with persecution from Vickie and others, is if the ‘Black Knight’ passes over to the other side.

Vickie isn’t totally blind, as the recent altercation with J.T., Mackenzie’s (Kelly Kruger) admissions and warnings and relationship counseling sessions have evidenced. But one-half of the one-time ‘J.T.V.’ doesn’t know who Luckinbill’s character has actually become.

J.T. recently heard ‘Mack’ say that he wasn’t a monster. On that point his soon-to-be ex-wife was wrong. He has devolved into an animal, but no one in Genoa City or its audience knows why.

In the nearing future, Y&R fans will learn what’s driving J.T.’s erratic behavior and violent actions. When or shortly after that happens he’ll either be nabbed by Paul (Doug Davidson), escape town or dare it to be said, perish himself.

It must be added that Luckinbill’s return has been fully welcomed, as this solid actor has easily fit back into the cast. His efforts within this storyline are deeply engaging, as is the work of his on-screen partner, Heinle. Together, this former real-life couple is creating, through the support of strong plotting, a memorable arc. While Y&R’s full plans for J.T. aren’t known, here’s hoping some way can be found for him to remain in GC indefinitely.
