The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Hilary’s Position Isn’t Enviable – Devon Maintains Hevon Possibility

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) was lambasted by ‘Lane’ on ‘The Young and the Restless’. She was hoping to continue to ‘Hevon’ rapprochement process after that couple left Devon’s (Bryton James) office. While that didn’t happen, the chances of this couple reforming remain possible.

The real issue is the power of love. Corny, yes, but only to those who are cynical.

Hilary admitted that she’s never gotten over Devon. He didn’t admit to feeling the same, but chose to address what he sees as Hilary’s ongoing issues.

As important as what Devon said was his choice to retain Hilary within his firm. The Hamilton Winters Group recently bought GC Buzz and with that came and remains the star of the ‘Hilary Hour’. Devon said his decision was strictly financial, but his heart tells another tale.

Lily (Christel Khalil) told her brother that she hoped he would finally rid himself of the person who was just revealed as having known about Juliet’s (Laur Allen) harassment lie. Devon was listening to a digital recording when he unexpectedly heard a retained conversation between Hilary and the not so dearly departed Miss Helton.

Hilary has been fully open with Devon (and others) about her desire to have a baby. She had been going the loveless, scientific route to make that happen. The former Mrs. Hamilton was in the process of telling Devon that she wasn’t pregnant when Lily and Cane (Daniel Goddard) walked into the office and dropped the information they’d learned via the thumb drive.

All Hillary detractors may believe that explained developments make it more likely that ‘Hevon’ won’t revive. This contingent isn’t balancing their sheer emotion with logic.

If Devon wanted Hilary out of his life he never would have purchased GC Buzz and now, when given a clear opportunity to stop daily interaction, would also not have chosen to maintain the status quo.

Hilary was wrong to have encouraged Juliet to do all that she did. But Miss Curtis is right when she told Lily, Cane and Devon that they were referencing history.

Devon is allowing himself to be linked to Hilary now, which then affords ongoing future possibilities for existing feelings to reignite. It can be reasonably argued that ‘Hevon’s’ chances of revival are increasing and with that a baby will also, likely follow.
