The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Hilary Still Has a Chance – Devon Not Done With Hevon Yet

Yes, Devon (Bryton James) told Hilary (Mishael Morgan) that they were done on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But he did include an out clause in his harsh comments. If she’s pregnant with his child, then they will remain connected.

It would seem unlikely that Y&R will write this specific pair of actors away from each other. They’ve consistently produced great collaborative efforts through their characters.

While it’s possible Hilary won’t have a baby, the longterm potential of that development would surely favor a coming pregnancy storyline in the near future. An unexpected path in the another direction would have to include some meaty plot lines for both halves of the one-time ‘Hevon’.

Hilary’s fainting incident could represent morning sickness, or maybe she just wasn’t eating right and felt light-headed. Regardless, Devon’s decision a handful of weeks ago revealed his enduring feelings. He believes that Hilary is the ideal woman for him to have a child with.

It’s fair to suggest that part of Devon’s erratic behavior involves his realization that he will be tied to Hilary forever once their daughter or son is born. While she has touched his heart in a way no one else ever has, Miss Curtis’ unpredictable personality promises an indefinitely unsteady course.

‘Hevon’ was written apart earlier last year. Hilary eventually settled upon Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood). But he was just a distraction and proved to be untrustworthy, at least in Hilary’s mind.

Devon developed his friendship with Mariah (Camryn Grimes) into a romantic relationship. He didn’t end that effort, but also wasn’t wrecked when it was over.

Chemistry is the undefinable connection one soul has with another. Other people sometimes don’t understand these links. However, one couple’s relationship terms or depth aren’t issues that need to be proven to others. Lily (Christel Khalil), did you read that last sentence?

It seems more likely than not that Hilary and Devon will be expecting this spring. Whether that also includes ‘Hevon’s’ full reunion remains to be seen in Genoa City.
