The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Hilary Knows Devon is Father Material – Hevon Expansion Plans Made

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) has been sending herself mixed messages on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But she’s finally come to her senses in recognizing that Devon (Bryton James) is father material. This is good news for ‘Hevon’ fans.

‘Hevon’ was easily one of Y&R’s most compelling couples. It can be that again, if executive producer and head writer Mal Young opts for reconciliation.

It wasn’t surprising that Hilary chose to believe that she could go it on her own. With it meaning motherhood. Her ego has been primed by the ‘Hilary Hour’ and a certain perception of life’s experiences. But after ‘Hevon’ parted, amicably, Hilary learned that empowerment isn’t true love.

Devon, more than anyone, knows that Hilary can be a good person. She hasn’t been that consistently to-date. However, his positive influence is needed in her life.

Some within Genoa City may choose to believe differently. But no apologies are offered to those who think that all couples must be equal at all times. Devon and Hilary lived through rough childhood’s. But Devon’s world was changed by the love that Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Dru (Victoria Rowell) provided when they made him a part of their family. That point allows Devon to have deeper experience with kindness and therefore to share his compassion with Hilary.

Hilary did demonstrate that she was coming around early last year. That’s when she agreed to a divorce; only asking for GC Buzz in the settlement. Now that Devon has repurchased that media entity, these love birds are again able to fly around each other regularly.

‘Hevon’ can and should be greenlighted for a sequel because both people make each other better. They made honest attempts to find love elsewhere, but failed. Together they can not only renew their personal bonds, but create a new life, or lives in the future.

Yes, Hilary knows Devon is the right and best man to be the father of the baby she desires. Fans of good soap and two terrific actors are surely hoping so.
